You're not bad at life. You have a different operating system.

Every productivity app was built for neurotypical brains. This one wasn't.

This isn't a quiz. It's a Tuesday.

You bought the planner. You used it for three days. It’s under a pile of other planners.

Your task list has 47 items. You’ve read it six times. You’ve done none of them.

You crushed a twelve-hour work sprint. You forgot to eat. You forgot to call back your mum. You forgot the thing you actually needed to do.

The app that was supposed to simplify your life has twelve tabs, three integrations, and a setup wizard. You closed it after four minutes.

You don’t need another system. You need someone to sit next to you and say ‘what’s one thing?’

The guilt of the thing you’re not doing is louder than the thing you are doing.

You’ve started seventeen morning routines. Finished zero — not because you’re lazy, because your brain doesn’t run on consistency. It runs on interest, urgency, and novelty.

So we built it differently.

Quick capture

Open. Dump. Done.

Brain dump in fifteen seconds. A half-formed thought, a sudden idea, a thing you need to do before you forget. AI classifies it. You approve. The thought is safe. Your working memory is free.

Your working memory buffer is smaller. Every unsorted thought is a tab consuming RAM. Quick capture closes the tab.

Body double

I’m here. 25 minutes. Let’s go.

A calm presence that sits with you while you focus. Not a productivity coach. Not motivational quotes. Just someone alongside. Grounded in social facilitation research.

Task initiation is the hardest executive function. A body double lowers the activation energy to start.

One thing

Not 47 tasks. One.

Based on your actual data — which area is lowest, what time it is, what you’ve already done today. One action. The decision is made for you. That’s the point.

Decision fatigue hits harder with reduced executive function. Choosing what to do IS the obstacle. We remove the choice.

No guilt

Missed a week? Welcome back. Here’s where things are.

No broken streaks. No red X’s. No ‘you missed 5 days!’ notifications. Your shape is just here, as you left it, ready when you are.

Rejection sensitivity means a single “you missed your streak!” message can trigger complete app abandonment. We will never send that message.

Forgiving streaks

Your streak pauses. It never breaks.

Miss a day, miss a week. Your progress isn’t lost. When you come back, you pick up where you left off. Because consistency isn’t daily — it’s directional.

All-or-nothing thinking turns one missed day into “well, I’ve ruined it.” We removed the cliff.

Why I built this.

I have ADHD. Diagnosed at 32.

Before that, I thought I was just inconsistent. Great at some things, mysteriously terrible at others. I'd crush it at work for weeks, then realise I hadn't exercised, called a friend, or done my tax in months.

Every app I tried tracked one thing. My life wasn't one thing.

So I built Tenholm. A shape that shows all six areas at once. A voice that notices what I've been ignoring. A system that meets me where I am — not where a morning routine template says I should be.

If you've ever felt like you're great at life in bursts but can't hold all the plates at once — this is for you. Not because something's wrong with you. Because your brain runs different software, and it deserves a different dashboard.
